Ba3Te2O6X2 is obtained by reacting TeO2 in a BaX2 flux at 1000 Β°C under atmospheric conditions. The samples are characterized by powder and single crystal XRD. All four compounds crystallize in the cubic space group Fd3m with Z = 16. The structures consist of a rigid β 3 [M3Te2O6] 2+ framework (M: S
