Photochromic spiropyran homopolymer/copolymers have been prepared by radical polymerization of 5-acrylamino-1,3,3-trimethylindolino-6 -nitro-8-methoxy spiropyran using different vinyl monomers such as methyl methacrylate, methyl acrylate, and styrene. The polymerization was carried out at 80ΠC in di

Abstract
The preparation of polyphosphazene random and block copolymers bearing trifluoroethoxy and alkoxyalkoxy groups by the anionically initiated polymerization of phosphoranimines and poly(diarylphosphazene)s from phosphine azide intermediates is discussed. The properties of these materials were studied by differential scanning calorimetry, wideβ and smallβangle Xβray scattering, thermogravimetric analysis, dynamic mechanical analysis, dielectric relaxation spectroscopy, single crystal Xβray and electron diffraction, density measurements and optical microscopy, and were correlated with molecular architecture, molecular weight, composition and side groups structure.

Homopolymers of adipic anhydride (AA) and block copolymers of 1-caprolactone (1-CL) and AA have been synthesized with aluminum triisopropoxide as an initiator. Homopolymerization was studied at 20ΠC in toluene and methylene chloride (CH 2 Cl 2 ). The end-group analysis agrees with a coordination ins
Homopolymers of N-vinylpyrrolidone (VP) and vinyl acetate (VAc) were synthesized by a free-radical solution polymerization technique. Copolymers of VP and VAc in various monomer feed ratios were also synthesized by the same procedure. They were characterized by elemental analysis, FTIR, PNMR, TGA, s
