Abstract
Viscosity and light scattering studies in conc. H~2~SO~4~ were made on poly(pโbenzamide) which was synthesized from paraโaminobenzoic acid in Nโmethylโ2โpyrrolidone/pyridine solution in the presence of an aryl phospite. Second virial coefficient decreases as the molecular weight increases while the Zโaverageโmeanโsquare radius of gyration increases. The relationship between [ฮท] and M~w~ indicates bending of the molecular chain in solutions as the molecular weight increases.
