✦ Synopsis
New polyarylene ethers containing rigid naphthalene, pyridine and quinoline moieties have been prepared by the nucleophilic displacement of suitable aromatic dihalides with corresponding potassium bisphenates. The reaction was carried out using DMAc or DPS as solvent. The chemistry and thermal properties are discussed.
