## Abstract A series of functional organosilanes and their esters were synthesized by the hydrosilylation reaction of SiH group‐bearing organosilicon derivatives with maleic anhydride using Speier's catalyst and their esterification with long‐chain alcohols in the presence of stannous oxide. These
