β¦ Synopsis
By Schotten-Bauman's esterification of amylose with acryloyl chloride, a new ester derivative of starch-acryloyloxyamylose-was prepared, which contains double bonds. The effects of the reagent ratio, KOH concentration, and reaction time on the degree of amylose esterification were examined. The original amylose and acryloyloxyamylose were characterized by FTIR, 1 H-NMR, 13 C-NMR, GPC, and DSC. Acryloyloxyamylose was polymerized in solution by the free-radical process and by photopolymerization in a solid state to obtain a crosslinked product.

A series of ethylene-propylene-2-ethylidenebicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-ene terpolymers have been prepared using the VOCl 3 /Al 2 Et 3 Cl 3 catalyst under various initial Al/V ratios and diene concentrations. The V/C and Al/V ratios in EPDM films were determined by Rutherford backscattering spectrometry. Th
Photosensitive copolysiloxaneimides were prepared by adding a photosensitive monomer such as hydroxyethylacrylate (HEA) to copolyisoimides, which were synthesized by the copolycondensation of pyromellitic dianhydride, benzophenone tetracarboxylic dianhydride with oxydianiline, and bis(p-aminophenoxy
