A new oxychlorosulfide compound La 5 Ti 6 S 3 Cl 3 O 15 has been prepared from the reaction of LaOCl with a mixture of La 2 S 3 and TiS 2 . Single crystal X-ray diffraction studies show that this compound crystallizes in the space group Im-3 (C204) of the cubic system (a‫)6(6514.21؍‬ A s , Z‫.)4؍‬ D
