✦ Synopsis
Bioactive naphthoquinone-derived heterocyclic compounds have been prepared. Herein, we describe the semisynthesis of a new phenazine, through modified Hooker's reaction, using lapachol as a precursor. This compound was characterised by 2D NMR spectroscopy methods and X-ray analysis.
