The syntheses of 5-amino (4-12,15) and 5,8-diamino(16-17) isoquinoline derivatives, their anfifilarial activity and their effect on metabolic activities of filariids are delineated, Some of the screened compounds have shown promising filaficidal response against Acanthocheilonema viteae in rodents.
