The conditions for the syntheses of bis(perfluoroalkyl)zinc compounds Zn(R f ) 2 ´2 D (R f = C 2 F 5 , n-C 3 F 7 , i-C 3 F 7 , n-C 4 F 9 , n-C 6 F 13 , n-C 7 F 15 , and n-C 8 F 17 ; D = CH 3 CN, tetrahydrofurane, dimethylsulfoxide) are described. Mass spectra, thermal decompositions, 19 F-and 13 C-NMR spectra are discussed.
