✦ Synopsis

A synthesis of a 1dC and 3H labelled I7&heptanoyloxy-l7aethinyl-4-oestrene-3-on is described.

The 14C labelling was performed in the position 4 (VIIa) as wellas in position 1 ' ( X I I ) of the heptanoic acidand the 3H labelling in position 7 (VIIb) .

Using Bal4CO3 as starting material, the over all yields were 6 % (VIIa) and 35% ( X I I ) , starting with Tritium 6 % (VIIb). The end products were rigorously purified and checked chemically and radiochemically by at least two thin layer systems and a dilution analysis.
