Abstract

Der Thioxanthenyl‐glycinester 2b cyclisiert in Acetanhydrid/Natriumacetat zu den Benzothiopyrano[4,3,2‐cd]indolen 4c und 4d, in Äthanol/Natriumalkoholat zu dem Indolin 3 und dem Indol 4e. Aus 4c und 4e entsteht nach Hydrolyse und Decarboxylierung das Indol 4a, das identisch ist mit dem aus 1a und Formamid erhaltenen Produkt.
