Polymers with imidazole units were prepared by reaction of 1.4-bis-(phenylglyoxyloyl)benzene with some aromatic dialdehydes in the presence of NH,. The properties of the polymers are described and the UV-absorption was investigated. The electric conductivity 0298 of the poly-imidazoles is 1.05 ~10-1
