Durch Umsetzung von Polyacrylnitril mit Dicyandiamid wurde erstmals ein organis-hes Primiirflockungsmittel erhalten. Synthese und chemische Struktur der Polymere werden beschrieben sowie Anwendungen diskutiert. Synthesis and application of flocculating agents
Flocculating agents have attained importance which determines the technology in solid-liquid separation processes. Free radical polymerization of dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride results in water-soluble eationic polyelectrolytes. The reaction of poly(acrylonitri1e) with dicyanediamide resulted in the first organic primary flocculant. Synthesis and chzmical structure of t h r polymers as well as applications are discussed.
