Abstract
2,5‐Dimethoxymandelsäure, 2,5‐Dimethoxyphenylglykol sowie deren Desmethylderivate werden–ausgehend von entsprechenden Benzaldehyden–synthetisiert, wobei die freien phenolischen Hydroxylgruppen während der Synthese durch Benzylierung geschützt werden müssen.
