✦ Synopsis

A new and efficient synthesis of 1-ethoxyphosphindole oxide l i s reported. The dipolarophilic activity of this heterocycle towards three class of 1,3-dipoles was tested. The cycloaddition reactions are regio-and stereospecific. Nmr data PH and 13C) allow us to determine the regio and the diastereochemistry of the cycloadducts.
