Syntheses and analyses of three tritiated rat atrial natriuretic peptides(ANF) derivatives : (4-3H-Phea)ANF, (4-3H-Phe26)ANF, (4-3H-Phe8, 3,5-3Hz-Tyr28)ANF are described. These blologically active peptides were obtained by catalytic dehalogenation of fodinated precursors in the presence of tritium gas and Pd catalysts and exhibited high specific radioactivity (20-55 Ci/mmol, 740-2035 GBq/nmol). zed as a modified linear analogue of ANF(1-28) : 3H-(Ala7,23)ANF and was biologically active.
