โฆ Synopsis
Multiple imaging modalities are used to evaluate a case of synovial osteochondromatosis of the right hip. This disease involves synovial metaplasia in a single joint, with the formation of multiple cartilaginous nodules. Ultrasound is recommended as the imaging modality of choice t o diagnose this disease when this entity is suggested by clinical examination or radiographs. A general review of the disease entity is also included.
