An X-ray diffraction anomalous fine structure (DAFS) experiment was performed in the vicinity of the Pt Lin absorption edge for a supported Pt catalyst. It appears that for the as-prepared sample, all the Pt atoms exist in the tetramine complex.

The effect of pressure on the bond compressibility in the crystal structures of fayalite, Fe2SiO 4 and rutile, TiO 2 were investigated by using a diamond anvil cell designed for this study and a four-circle single crystal X-ray diffractometer. The mean linear compressibilities of the Fe-O, Si-O and
## Abstract The MgCl~2~βsupported titanium catalyst MTK~ST~ was characterized by Xβray diffraction measurement and electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopy. To obtain a better understanding of the nature of active sites the process of catalyst formation was interrupted at several stages to obtain
