β¦ Synopsis
The synchronous fluorescence spectra of hemoglobin solutions are reported for the first time. The main fluorescence peaks observed in the spectra are assigned. The effect of the concentration of hemoglobin solution on the spectra is studied. Characteristic fluorescence peaks due to the dimer and tetramer of hemoglobin molecules are recognized.

The self-association of n-hexyltrimethylammonium bromide (C 6 TAB) in aqueous solution has been examined as a function of temperature and electrolyte concentration. The critical micelle concentration (CMC) and the degree of counterion binding (β€) were determined by conductivity measurement at temper
One important feature in the gas phase chemistry of surfactants is to ascertain whether their aggregates produced by electrospray ionization reflect those formed in the starting solution. With this aim, we have performed ESI-MS, ESI-MS/MS and ER-MS spectra of bis(2-ethylhexyl)sulfosuccinate (AOTNa)
The resonance Raman spectrum of a Ti(IV)-H202 complex in acidic (H2S04) aqueous solution is shown to consist of bands at 623,1236 and 1852 cm-'. Excitation with three different lines of an argon ion laser showed the higher two Raman bands to be overtones of the 623 cm-' fundamental, this arising fro
