✦ Synopsis

We have successfully developed the first full size synchronous cyclic capillary electrophoresis system using conventional capillaries, power supply, and ultraviolet detector and demonstrated its potential power for separating compounds with very similar electrophoretic mobilities. Although cyclic capillary electrophoresis has been demonstrated previously on microchips, this new system offers more resolving power, peak capacity, and versatility for complex samples.
