Cycloadditions of the 3.4-substituted cyclobutenes k, W_ with diaxoalkanes RR'CNz, R = ii und R' = Ii, alkyl, aryl or alkoxycarbonyl exclusively yield w-adducts. Diphenyll nitrilimine and mesitonitrile oxide mainly undergo &-addition.
