A sYMPosIuM on Quantum Fluids was held at the University of Sussex on 16-20 August, 1965. The conference was arranged to provide an informal atmosphere in which experimentalists and theorists might consider the phenomenon of superfluidity peculiar to liquid helium and superconductors. An intentional and unusual feature of the meeting was the small number of invited papers, which left much time free for discussion, as well as additional talks and reports of recent developments. On the last day, three summary talks were given by D. Pines, F. Reif, and M. Tinkham.
