## Abstract The second‐order waveguide impedance boundary condition is first combined with the perfectly matched layer (PML) for the time‐domain finite‐element (TDFE) simulation of waveguide problems. The formulation is validated by numerical examples. The results clearly show that the reflection e

✦ Synopsis
A b s t r a c t . The boundary condition of a finite lifetime of most states of r e d nuclei as well its its influence on the symmetry properties of the nuclear forces are investigated. It is shown that this boundary condition for finite nuclei induces some symmetry violation, e.g. for the Migdal parameter g', which does not exist in nuclear matter.
