✦ Synopsis

Symbolic Reliability Expression is a necessity for any subsequent reliability studies. Several algorithms and computer programs have been developed to determine the minimal paths and hence symbolic reliability expression of a network. In the recent years, there has been a trend in developing small desktop instruments for specific purposes which could be easily afforded and used by system designers. So an effort has been made to develop a microprocessor based instrument to evaluate paths and to determine reliability expression in the case of a moderate sized network.
