✦ Synopsis

Casual gamer Drake Thompson retires early at 35 to enter the fully immersive game Battle Empire full time. Despite grinding levels for years, he is still only mid-level. Being a permanent player in the realm will make his climb to the highest levels easier. Drake dreams of living out the rest of his days as a ruler in the virtual medieval world where magic works and women worship him like a king. He plans to enjoy his new life, but the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.

On his first full day in the game, the latest rare and powerful Horn Sword drops, changing all his plans. Claiming the epic artifact will help him on his quest to becoming king. With help from his less than reputable friends and new players and NPCs, he leaves on a quest to locate the OP weapon. If he succeeds, he can claim his place as a ruler in the virtual realm. If that wasn’t difficult enough, other, more pressing problems outside of the game may change everything. Can Drake and crew pull through?
