Abstract

In this article, we present two switching‐capacitor current‐reused voltage‐controlled oscillators with two sub‐bands or four sub‐bands. The degeneration source resistors are used to improve magnitude symmetry of output signals. Tuning frequency range is from 2.16 to 2.74GHz. The phase noise is better than −104 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz frequency offset. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
