## Abstract In this article, a digitally controlled band‐switching voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) is designed and fabricated using TSMC 0.18 ΞΌm CMOS technology. Design considerations regarding the power requirement and the phase noise of the VCO are discussed. Eight bands are set by three bits
