## Abstract ## BACKGROUND Patients with metastatic colorectal carcinoma (MCC) to the liver receive conflicting management recommendations because of the lack of prospective randomized controlled trials (RCTs) clarifying the optimal management in this disease. The oabjective of the current study wa
