Eight patients with mediastinal or retroperitoneal germ cell tumors who had undergone testicular biopsy or orchiectomy were retrospectively analyzed for primary testicular abnormalities, subfertility, and abnormal sex hormone levels. Testicular tissue was abnormal in all patients, revealing peritubu
