โœฆ Synopsis

THIS volume contains obituary notices of Klein, Tooth, and Williamson, all written with sympathy and ctiscretion. An article by C. L. Hewer on splanchnic analgesia gives a valuable record of nineteen cases ; it is claimed that the shock of large abdominal operations was diminished, but in every case the patient was kept under very light general anaesthesia. Mr. Rawling contributes a very candid description of a case of trigeminal neuralgia which is full of both humour and precepts for those who would lcarn therefrom.
