✦ Synopsis
Results of the thermostimulated surface current measurements on dielectric surfaces are reported. The chosen materials were porcelain, rutile (TiO 2) ceramics and methylmethacrylate. It was shown that in the investigated temperature range, large changes of the electric properties of the dielectric surfaces occur. It may be of a great importance in low-temperature vacuum constructions for high voltage applications. The usefulness of the method applied for studies of cryocondensates on dielectric surfaces has also been shown.
