Continuous surface potentials arc calculated for both 4tie and 'He at T = 0 K. Comparison of the derived heats of vaporization with the experimental ones shows good rgreemcnt. The energy of a 'He bound state on liquid 'fle is&so c=rlculatcd: our result , -5.85 K. is to be compared with the experimentat one, -5.20 K.
