β¦ Synopsis
We obtam a vlbratlonal Raman spectrum of a monolayer wthout the aid of anomalous surface enhancement Rarwn pam spectra of vlbrahonal features near 1610 cm-' of a chemlsorbed monolayer of p-mtrobenzoic acid on (PNBA) aiumina are obtamed employing the ultra-high senslhvity of surfan picosecond Raman gain spectroscopy. The Raman gain spectra reveal the presence of addItional features shifted by ==15 cm-' from the strong 1610 cm-' viiration observed in bulk PNBA

## Abstract Langmuir monolayers of metalβfree tetra(1,1,4,4βtetramethylβ6,7βtetralino) porphyrazine (HDMTLPH~2~) and its copper complex (HDMTLPCu) were formed on a water subphase. The surface pressureβarea isotherms were measured and the floating monolayers were transferred to various substrates. T
