## Abstract The surface functionalization of wood fiber was performed by chemical modification with bi‐functional organo‐silane __7__‐octenyldimethylchlorosilane (__7__‐ODMCS) and mono‐functional organo‐silane __n__‐octyldimethylchlorosilane (__n__‐ODMCS). The chloro functionality of organo‐silane
