β¦ Synopsis
The surface impedance of London superconductors with twodimensional rectangular grooves of infinite length imitating surface roughness is calculated. Dependences of the effective surface impedance and penetration depth on roughness size are obtained for an arbitrary magnetic field direction. Temperature dependences are analysed for conductors with rough surfaces.
