โฆ Synopsis
We have studled surface-enhanced Raman scattering from the rollowing non-aqueous elecwxhemxal systems: 0.05 M pyridme/O.l M LiCl/mclhanol/Ag ekrrode. 0.05 M pyridmc/O.l M LiCl/ethanol/Ag elecuode. and 0.05 M benzene/O.1 M LCl/edunol/Ag elects&. Each SERS band of pyri&ne is found to show ?wo &slinctive steps to reach the maximum peak inknsity after the reduction polenrial is applied, which seems to be related to tie formation of adatomic sliver patick. dusters. SERS spectra of hcnzene show three bands ar 995. 986 and 993 cm-'. Lhe polenlial dependence of wluch was studied in detail to confirm chemiso,Ttion elk&
