Sterically stabilized biocompatible poly(lactic acid) (PLA) nanospheres were prepared by an o/w emulsion/evaporation technique, using hydrophobically modified dextrans (DexP) as the emulsion stabilizer. Photon correlation spectroscopy, zetametry, and differential scanning calorimetry studies corrobo
