✦ Synopsis

Schicht noch zweimal mit Ather ausgeschuttelt. Die ,&herlosungen wurden mit Salzsaure gewaschen und hiersuf mit Sods und Lauge ausgezogen. I m Ather verblieben 1'5 g unverandertes 3-Brom-cumaron, das schmelzpunktsrein zuruckerhalten wurde. Die Sodsauszuge gaben 88 mg Cumaron-3-carbonsaure (Smp, 160°, Mischprobe). Der alkaliliisliche Teil war ein 61, das im Vakuum bei 19 mrn und ca. 98O farblos destillierte. Es zeigt den erwahnten Geruch. Ausbeute 0,5 g. 0'2 g davon wurden nach Schotten-Bauma.nn ins p-Nitro-benzoat iibergefuhrt. Der Ester krystallisierte als Rohprodukt sofort und zeigte den Smp. 100-106°.

Er wurde aus Ather durch Einengen umkrystallisiert und mit einem Smp. 107-105° korr. erhaben. Weiteres Umkrystallisieren anderte ihn nicht weiter. Zur Analyse wurde im Hochvakuum bei 80° getrocknet.
