Abstract
Dans la condensation du p‐cymène et des alcools amylique ou butylique tertiaires sous l'action d'acide sulfurique concentré, il est obtenu par une réaction de transfert d'hydrogène, non pas un p‐cy‐mène alcoylé correspondant, mais des indanes alcoylés parmi lesquels un tétraméthyl‐1,3,3,6‐p‐tolyl‐1‐indane.
