## Abstract Apoptosis is an important mechanism enabling the selection of the non‐self‐reactive T cell repertoire and for maintaining homeostasis in the immune system after it has expanded to combat infections. Highly activated, proliferating T cells become susceptible to apoptosis driven by a numb

## Abstract Spleen cells from mice bearing large methylcholanthrene (MCA)‐induced sarcomas were injected intravenously into mice challenged in the hind footpads with heavily‐irradiated cells from the same or a different sarcoma. As measured by [^3^H]‐thymidine incorporation on day 5 or 6, cellular
