β¦ Synopsis
Transverse relaxation time measurements in homonuclear coupled systems by spin-echo experiments exhibit signal modulation by scalar spin-spin coupling (J modulation). This is the major diffkulty for the measurement of accurate intensities. We show a modified spin-echo sequence which allows the removal of J modulation while preserving the resolution of the spectrum. In a second part of the Letter, we propose an application of this sequence to lactate editing in a blood plasma sample.
