✦ Synopsis

T h e oculornotor nerve divides into superior and inferior branches just before entering the orbit. Isolated palsy of the inferior branch resulting from traumatic [ 5 ] , neoplastic [ 3 ] , and presumct! viral origin has been described [4, 51. A case of paralysis of the superior hranch is now presented. Spontaneous complete recovery occurred in six weeks.
