The purpose of the present work was to study the extraction of 1-butanol from aqueous solutions using supercritical carbon dioxide at 100 bar and 40ยฐC as a solvent. Experimental studies were performed using a 35 mm diameter mechanically agitated Oldshue-Rushton-type supercritical fluid extraction co

## Abstract The feasibility of using supercritical carbon dioxide for both static and dynamic extraction of organic bases from an aqueous matrix has been investigated. It appears that the greater the lipophilic portion of the molecule the more readily is the base extracted: triprolidine, sulfametha
