✦ Synopsis
The Ag-YBazCu3OT-y composites with the different Ag-volume fraction x were studied. The critical current density jc of the AgzO-based material decreases with x. For the Ag-based material the maximum of the jc(x) dependence at x#20~ seems to be caused by a larger sample density. Measurements of the current-voltage characteristics and the effect of magnetic field on the critical current show that the silver addition changes the type of the intergrain links.
The Ag-YBa2CuaOT-y granular solids with the Ag-volume fraction x ranging from 0 to 50% were fabricated from a single phase YBa2Cu306.s4-powder obtained by a freeze drying technique and an Ag-or AgzO-powders sinthesized by cryo-precipitaring Agz~303 with it's subsequent thermal de-

In the TI-compound, the results show little effect on T C. In the K-compound, T~ gradually drops with increasing K concentrati
