β¦ Synopsis
Macroscopic symmetry properties of crystals are changed under the influence of incommensurate structure modulations. It reveals on symmetric properties of unconventional superconducting phases of crystals with incommensurate structures. In particular, the existence of superconducting cholesteric phases proves to be possible. The problem of the influence of incommensurate crystal structure modulations on the unconventional superconductivity is discussed by considering an application to heavy fermionic superconductor UPt 3, which has modulations of atomic positions incommensurate with the parent HCP structure.

It is well known that the composition of ferromagnetic shape memory Ni-Mn-Ga Heusler alloys determines both temperature of martensitic transformations and the structure type of the product phase. In the present work we focused our attention on the structural study of the so-called ''5M'' modulated s
The preparation, crystal structure and physical properties of REBaSrCu3Ox compounds have been studied (Re ~ La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy, Y, Ho, Er, Tm or Lu). These compounds are found to be superconducting with a transition temperature within the range 54 K < Tc < 86 K, except for RE = Pr, which is
