We investigated processing, microstructure and superconducting properties of Gd123 single grain bulk superconductors with a large amount of BaCeO 3 . The melt-textured bulk samples with compositions of Gd123 : BaCeO 3 : Gd211 = 100 : 40Γ€x : x (x = 0-40) plus 20 wt.% of Ag 2 O and 0.5 wt.% of Pt were

Melt-processed REBaCuO (RE: rare-earth) superconductors have a high J c at 77 K and high magnetic field, and light rare-earth (LRE) BaCuO has a larger J c than Y123 in high magnetic field. These materials are expected to be applied to high field applications such as a superconducting permanent magne
