The mechanism and dynamic model of the formation of 2223 phase are presented and verified in the paper. It reveals that with the solubilization of part of the 2212 phase, 2223 phase is formed by the reaction being carried out according to a nucleation and growth mechanism in the presence of liquid p

β¦ Synopsis
Measurements of the resistivity, of the DC Meissner effect, oflhe isothermal magnetisation, of the specific heat, of the thermal expansion and of the Hall effect are reported for a high quality polycrystalline sample of the 2223 phase of the BiSrCaCuO family of high temperature superconductors. They are discussed in terms of critical fluctuations within + 10 K about Tc due to a very small coherence volume. Distinct features appear in the data at the Ginzburg-Landau transition temper~iture ( TeL = 107 K) and at the Kosterlitz-Thouless like temperature (T~r z 106 K).
