✦ Synopsis

A description of a novel current-lead design is given together with an assessment of the heat leakage into a liquid helium cryostat. Calculations indicate that the heat leak using these novel current-leads is of the order of ten times less than the leak that would be obtained using optimized conventional current-leads.
