Corp (part of the Mitsubishi group) is commercialising a range of near-infrared absorbing pigments, suitable for use in optical filters used in plasma display panels. The technology and patent rights for the manufacture of these pigments were transferred from Mitsubishi Chemical in 2Q 2006.
